Few iconic bands who have been a group for fifty years truly play with the vigor and focus of their heyday. Not that there’s anything erroneous regarding nostalgia, but for the seminal group King Crimson there’s historically been little looking back. Denying the moniker of progressive rock (reasonably so, as they predate the subgenre) the group’s core founding member Robert Fripp (guitars, keyboards, mellotron) generally led a charge towards new material every tour and an evolving methodology on arrangements.
Keller Williams has announced the release of his 25th studio album, SPEED, which is due out on November 22nd. The new record features Williams with his Bluegrass outfit, Keller & The Keels, as they reinterpret popular songs by celebrated artists including The Doors, Kacey Musgraves, Fiona Apple, Weezer and more.

Gangstagrass has been cooking up the heat to stun their fans once again by releasing their 5th album and first live recording, “Pocket Full of Fire” which came out earlier this year. The response thus far has been incredible including Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums Chart Debut at #8.

On the heels of winning the 2019 Blues Music Award for Best Acoustic Album this past May at The Annual Blues Foundation Awards in Memphis, Bruce Katz releases his solo acoustic piano album, Solo Ride on August 16, 2019 through American Showplace Music. This marks his tenth album to date. The album was produced by Bruce with label owner Ben Elliott. Katz’s manager and agent Legare Robertson co-produced it. Solo Ride is Katz’s only solo release after thirty years of composing, touring and playing.
