Adding an extra day and bringing the Rolling Stones to the event for the first time, the 2024 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell was attended by 500,000 fans, Jazz Fest organizers announced today. During the expanded 8-day format, the Festival played out almost entirely under sunny skies as it shined a light on the importance of New Orleans to American and world culture.

In the 1960s, Greenwich Village was at the epicenter of the burgeoning folk music boom that was happening around the world, and a young Rory Block had a ringside seat to this evolution. With the release of her new album, Positively 4h Street: A Tribute to Bob Dylan, she gifts the sounds of that era to listeners everywhere. Stony Plain also plans to release the title track as a single on Bob Dylan's birthday, May 24th.

Bluegrass sensation Carson Peters’ fiery fiddle and stand-out vocal burn through “Long Twin Silver Line,” the second radio release from Lonesome Day Records’ all-star tribute to Bob Seger, SILVER BULLET BLUEGRASS. Breakthrough guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader Grace Bowers will host her 2nd annual “An Evening Supporting Love, Life & Music” benefit concert on June 10 at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl. The event will feature performances from Bowers, The Cadillac Three, Devon Gilfillian, Caroline Jones, Meg McRee, Jared James Nichols, John Osborne, Lucie Silvas, Brittney Spencer, and Butch Walker, as well as additional special guests.

Bluegrass-Americana troubadours, Greensky Bluegrass have announced seven new tour dates to their Summer tour that will bring the band throughout the northeast and southeast this July and August. Tickets are on sale at 10:00AM local this Friday, May 10 at greenskybluegrass.com/tour.
