The 10th Anniversary Edition Of Louder Than Life: Set Times, Mobile App, Onsite Experiences & Local Shows

The countdown has begun! In less than one month, North America’s loudest rock festival, Louder Than Life, will mark its highly anticipated 10th anniversary at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY. From September 26 to 29, 2024, the festival, produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, will host nearly 150 music acts on five stages, drawing fans from across the globe for four days of non-stop rock, metal, and more.

As the festival approaches, producers are excited to announce set times, reveal the official Louder Than Life mobile app (available now in app stores), and share details about additional onsite experiences and local shows commemorating this milestone anniversary. Must-See Performances Among the festival's standout acts, highlights include:

  • Slayer returning for one of their three exclusive reunion shows.
  • Slipknot celebrating the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut with a special set featuring their iconic 1999 attire.
  • Headlining performances from Mötley Crüe and Korn, with Korn making a triumphant return after playing the inaugural Louder Than Life in 2014.
  • Disturbed featuring local Louisville singer Katelyn Webb in a special onstage contest performance.
  • Gojira delivering their only U.S. festival performance of 2024 after their buzzworthy Summer Olympics appearance.
  • Mastodon performing their classic album Leviathan in full for its 20th anniversary.
  • Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine performing both solo material and Rage classics.

In honor of the festival’s 10th anniversary, Danny Wimmer Presents has teamed up with 502 Shows for the Louder Than Life x LDB series, a set of special local showcases taking place over the festival weekend. Shows include:

Official Afterparty Each night of the festival, the party continues with the Official Louder Than Life Afterparty at The Crowne Plaza, just steps from the festival grounds.
