Music Factory Records recording artist Ari Joshua is set to bring his vibrant and eclectic sound to the heart of Shakedown Street at the Tuscany Casino's Copa Room. As part of the Dead & Co after-party festivities during their Spheres 2024 residencies, the Ari Joshua Band will be performing on July 5th and 6th from 11 PM to 3 AM both nights.
The two-night run coincides with the celebration of three new releases and follows a series of high-profile performances. Ari Joshua Band recently headlined the Harstine Hoopla festival in the Pacific Northwest and completed a successful May/June tour of New England, featuring former Goose band members Ben Atkind and Kris Yunker.
Fans can look forward to the upcoming release of "Tagine," a single featuring Ari Joshua, Marco Benevento, and Joe Russo of JRAD, set to drop on July 19th, 2024. "Tagine" is a haunting ballad that blends organic psychedelic effects with angular diminished harmonies, inspired by a poignant gig in midtown NYC the day after 9/11. This raw and compelling trio recording captures the palpable intensity of that momentous occasion.
Throughout 2024, Ari Joshua will release 24 singles from various collaborations, showcasing his versatility and deep connections within the music industry. His recent collaborations include tracks with Ray and Russ from The Trey Anastasio Band, John Kimock (Mike Gordon Band, Oteil & Friends), John Medeski & Billy Martin from MMW, Skerik, Delvon Lamarr, Grant Schroff (Polyrhythmics), Robert Glasper, and many prominent figures from the jam and jazz scenes.
