Ari Joshua, an emblematic voice from the Dead's lineage, dives deep into the psychedelic realm, unveiling an all-star rendition of the Garcia/Hunter masterpiece, "Help on the Way." Teaming up with the likes of John Kimock on drums, Andy Hess on bass, and the talented Eden Ladin on keyboards, Ari not only provides the vocals and guitar but also steers the ship as the producer.

Recorded at the eminent Bunker Studio, located in the heart of Brooklyn's Williamsburg, this track follows on the heels of the critically acclaimed "Eyes of the World" from July, as well as two original compositions - "Lights Out" and "Eye Just Called to Soul, I Love You." All of these tracks encapsulate the innovative spirit Joshua is renowned for. Listen to the tracks here.

From the very first psychedelic notes, listeners are embraced by the palpable energy of the live ensemble. Joshua's haunting vocals - "Paradise awaits on the crest of a wave, her angels in flame…" - merge beautifully with Ladin's warm analog keyboards and his own lyrical guitar. As the improvisations rise, they create a mesmerizing sonic tapestry, reflecting the band's undeniable synergy. With Ladin hailed as a rising jazz star on the East Coast, Hess's expertise that has made him a favorite among NY musicians, and Kimock's unmistakable drumming groove, this band is a force to be reckoned with.

Reminiscing about his early connection with music, Ari Joshua recounts, “On the way to summer camp, an older kid introduced me to the magic of One from the Vault. It was a moment that defined my relationship with music, drawing me closer to the cosmic beauty of poetry and melody."

Joshua's fresh and poignant take on "Help on the Way" is currently available through Music Factory Records, with a video premiere accessible here. Keep an ear out for other exciting releases this summer, such as Kambo Wambo, Dragons Layer, and Nun Kommt es Werder. Fans can stream Joshua's music on various platforms or directly support the artist through purchases on Bandcamp and his official website.

In line with the track's title and theme, Ari Joshua has pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. He states, “The title speaks volumes: Help on the Way. Through music, I aim to offer a helping hand. With the recent loss of close friends and a past partner to depression, I truly hope that those in need find the help they deserve.”
