Following a knockout inaugural event, AVLFest returns to over two dozen stages in Asheville for another unforgettable celebration August 1-4, 2024. Presented by Wicked Weed Brewing and Worthwhile Sounds, the second annual AVLFest gathering will feature a tour-de-force of world class talent including national mainstays Papadosio, Beachwood Sparks, Blitzen Trapper, S.G. Goodman, and a number of native acts including newcomers Town Mountain, returning favorites River Whyless, and many more. Tickets to AVLFest are on sale now at avlfest.com. See below for the staggering initial lineup, and stay tuned for additional announcements forthcoming.
AVLFest will bring non-stop entertainment to area residents and visitors alike for a second year in a row August 1-4. Performance showcases are set to take place throughout the weekend, with wristbands granting passholders priority entry to all AVLFest host venues, as well discounts at numerous local retailers and restaurants. New for this year––in lieu of any separately ticketed stand alone headliners, all AVLFest performances are included in the weekend pass. Showcases are set to take place at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues including The Outpost, The Orange Peel, The Grey Eagle, and newly-participating establishments including Eulogy and Jack of the Wood.
"Our community showed their belief and support in our first AVLFest in 2023,” shares Cory Cunningham, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing of Wicked Weed Brewing. “...be it through our world-class venue participation and partnership, the local, regional, and national musicians who showcased their creative spirits, our premier sponsors of Explore Asheville, Bears BBQ, and FIRC Group through their unwavering support, and above all each and every passholder from near and far who chose to spend their dollars to join us. We are beyond thrilled to partner with everyone once again for another year; celebrating everything Asheville has to offer through the medium of live music in 2024."
AVLFest is proud to announce that a portion of proceeds from its 2024 festival will benefit Asheville Music Professionals, a local nonprofit driving education, advocacy, and collaboration in the western North Carolina music community.
$135 GA and $250 VIP Weekend passes are available now.
