After a whirlwind year that took them from Oregon Country Fair to the sands of Burning Man and a memorable sit-in with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at Gambler's Run, Blü Egyptian is closing out 2024 with a festive series of shows across Oregon and Northern California. The genre-blending jam band has covered new ground this year, touring Montana, Washington, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado for the first time. By the year's end, they will have played an impressive 140 shows, capped off by a special New Year’s Eve celebration with Thumpasaurus at Lost on Main, their favorite hometown venue in Chico, CA.
Blü Egyptian’s Thanksgiving weekend kicks off with a highly anticipated return to the legendary Crystal Bay Casino’s Red Room on November 30. In December, they’ll embark on their fourth Oregon tour of the year, with stops at their favorite venues in Corvallis, Eugene, and Portland. On December 14, Blü Egyptian joins Call Down Thunder’s End of the Year PJ Party in Bend, bringing their signature energy to the cozy affair. The band will also be spreading holiday cheer on December 21 at another beloved spot, the Crazy Horse Saloon in Nevada City, CA, for a lively holiday hootenanny.
Adding to the excitement, Blü Egyptian is set to release their third live album, capturing standout tracks from their summer tour, along with a multi-camera live video of their 'Talking Dead' set from Ain’t Necessarily Dead Fest in September. With 2025 shaping up to be another grateful year, fans can look forward to their late-night set at the Grateful Festival in Flagstaff, AZ, over Memorial Day weekend.
