King Of Prussia’s live outdoor music series Concerts Under the Stars just got bigger! The series has added some serious heat in a second wave addition of performances to its 39th season featuring John Oates (Hall & Oates), Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew (Talking Heads), Nigerien desert blues guitarist Mdou Moctar, pedal steel virtuoso Robert Randolph and more. Produced by Rising Sun Presents, the series will last all summer from  May to early September.

Joining the series’ lineup are Talking Heads veterans Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew with Remain in Light (featuring Cool, Cool, Cool) July 27, followed by jazz duo Rachael & Vilray (the side project of Lake Street Dive’s Rachael Price) on July 30. Concluding the freshly released performances are high energy jamband Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Mdou Moctar, performing music from his critically acclaimed 2024 release Funeral for Justice, with shows Aug. 13 and Sept.13 respectively.

Also coming to the Concerts Under the Stars site are a rowdy bluegrass jamboree with Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and Kitchen Dwellers on July 9th and indie rock veterans (and WXPN favorites) Dawes on July 10th. These shows, along with a handful of those already announced, will feature upgraded sound, lighting and staging to accommodate these special artist lineups and provide a more immersive audio and visual experience for concertgoers.

Concerts Under the Stars is presented by Upper Merion Township and produced by Rising Sun Presents – the event promoters behind Ardmore Music Hall, Underground Arts, MilkBoy Philly, and 118 North. In addition to Concerts Under the Stars, RSP will again bring the Sing Us Home festival to Manayunk, co-produced by Roxborough native and nationally-recognized musician Dave Hause, as well as the Bryn Mawr Twilight Concerts series, the Wayne Music Festival and Ardmore Rock N’ Ride to the greater Philadelphia area this summer.

Events will take place from 7-10pm on select weeknights and 6-9pm on select Sundays. Tickets for all Concerts Under the Stars events will go on sale at concertsunderthestarskop.com on Friday, Apr. 18 at 10am EST. Tickets and more information are available HERE.
