The festivities kick off with A Swingin' Little Christmas, featuring Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery, Tim Davis, and the Tony Guerrero Quintet, taking center stage on December 5th and 6th. Concurrently, the Haymarket Lounge will host Mr. Sun Plays Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite, offering a unique and sophisticated reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky’s classic composition through the lens of the American String Band on December 6th.
On December 10th, the celebrations continue with three diverse musical experiences. Starting at noon, 'Come Together: Christmas with the Beatles' will take you on a nostalgic journey filled with rare footage, stories, and music, all in tribute to The Beatles. Following this, The Rhine, an Ohio-based folk music ensemble, will grace the Main Stage with their harmonious sounds, while the award-winning indie-rock trio BETTY presents their Holiday Show in the Haymarket Lounge.
Experience the original acapella superstars, Rockapella, on December 11th and enjoy A Big Band Christmas Featuring Alexandra Grace with the 19-piece Compaq Big Band on December 12th. On December 17th, don't miss the chance to see renowned songwriter Karla Bonoff and the charismatic Livingston Taylor in their Home for the Holidays performance.
Join us for a Special Holiday Edition of Rock n Roll Trivia hosted by Scott Feldman on December 18th in the Haymarket Lounge, followed by Jon McLaughlin's 2023 Holiday Tour on the Main Stage on December 19th. The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) will debut their Faculty Holiday Cabaret on December 20th, and on December 21st, the "America's Got Talent" finalists Sons of Serendip bring their soulful sounds to City Winery.
Rounding out the month, Dar Williams' Almost New Year’s Show, featuring special guest Caitlin Curtis, will take place on December 28th.
