Cris Jacobs recently released Dust to Gold and has been touring behind his sophomore effort that features his inspired songwriting and soulfully transcendent voice. Cris has harnessed over a decade of trans-genre exploration on his sophomore solo album and Wide Open Country applauds, "On Dust to Gold, Jacobs draws from the past and present and comes into full maturity as an artist.” Jacobs has recently toured with Steve Winwood and Sturgill Simpson and his headlining run continues this week with the richly funky rhythm section of Todd Herrington on bass and Dusty Ray Simmons on drums.
