The Divided Sky Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Seth Dolinsky as its first Executive Director, a newly created position that represents a significant step in the foundation’s growth and commitment to expanding its services.

Dolinsky, a veteran in the field of behavioral healthcare, brings over a decade of experience directing residential treatment and sober living facilities, along with extensive expertise in program and business development. As Executive Director, he will work closely with the foundation’s board of directors to develop long-term strategies for the organization. Melanie Gulde, co-founder and Program Director, will continue to oversee the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program. Since opening its 46-bed facility in Ludlow, VT, in late 2023, the program has successfully helped more than 125 guests confront addiction.

“This is an exciting moment for Divided Sky,” said Andy Bernstein, President of the Divided Sky Foundation’s board of directors. “Seth’s expertise and leadership will allow us to focus on future growth and sustainability while maintaining our high standard of guest care under Melanie’s direction.”

“I’m thrilled to welcome Seth as the new Executive Director of the Divided Sky Foundation,” said Gulde. “From our previous collaboration, I know that Seth is deeply committed to our mission and passionate about helping others. His dedication and strong work ethic will contribute to Divided Sky’s growth, enabling us to continue assisting individuals in finding joy in their recovery.”

A native of New England, Dolinsky began his career in behavioral healthcare while living in Minnesota, shortly after finding his own recovery in 2011. He is also no stranger to Divided Sky. He was instrumental in the foundation’s early stages, working closely with Gulde in preparation for the opening of the Ludlow facility. He also played a key role in establishing the partnership with The Retreat in Wayzata, MN, a similar recovery center that serves as a model for Divided Sky’s program. Both facilities offer a unique approach to recovery, focusing on immersive education in the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, with an emphasis on finding joy in sobriety.

“I’m honored to join Divided Sky in this new capacity,” said Dolinsky. “Working alongside Melanie and the board, I’m eager to help expand the foundation’s impact and continue to offer a supportive, life-changing environment for our guests.”
