Following a tumultuous 2020, East Nashville-based, alt-country/roots rockers FLYING BUFFALOES emerge to deliver a message of hope for brighter days ahead with their latest single, "A New Day is Gonna Dawn." Co-written collectively by FLYING BUFFALOES and produced by Donnie Reis (Home Free, Lewis Brice, John McLaughlin, Emma Zander, Caroline Glaser, and more) at Twelve 3 South Recording, the track features the group's trademark tight harmonies and soaring instrumental solos, and echoes the group's sanguine approach to times of trouble--to fight through the darkness with positivity and light.

Produced by Nashville-based video production company, The Abundant Media, the cinematic and extremely impactful video recalls many troubling times in our world's history and suggests an optimistic viewpoint for a better future through the eyes of 13-year-old Kerén Rose (a naturalized citizen from Congo, Africa).

Originally written for FLYING BUFFALOES' debut album, LOADED & ROLLIN' (released in late 2019 and generating well over 100,000 streams), the group ultimately held the song because they felt it did not fit the overall concept for that project. However, following the events of last year which rocked our nation and the emotional impact on so many, FLYING BUFFALOES rushed to the studio earlier this year to deliver this message of hope for brighter days ahead at a time when they felt it was most needed.

"We have all been through a lot. The pandemic coupled with political turmoil and division has left pretty much everyone reeling," explains frontman Barry Stone. "However, difficult times like these can either grind you down or polish you up, depending on your mindset. No matter how dark things get, this too shall pass, and often, we end up in a better place having gone through it."
