THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS-Grammy Award-winners in 2018 for "Best Bluegrass Album"-have announced a four-show run in Colorado to help ring in 2019. Set for December 28 and 29 in Frisco, CO and December 30 and 31 in Denver, the concerts will help wind up what has been an epic year for the band.
"We are so excited to bring the Stringdusters NYE experience to the front range of Colorado this year!," says banjo player Chris Pandolfi. "This is a place that has shaped our music and always been an unofficial home to the band, and we can't wait to ring in the new year with the best fans in the world!" Meadow Mountain will open the Frisco shows, while The Drunken Hearts open 12/30 and the Jon Stickley Trio will open 12/31. THE STRINGDUSTERS--Andy Hall (dobro), Andy Falco (guitar), Pandolfi , Jeremy Garrett (fiddle), and Travis Book (upright bass)-have been busy all summer long, including an epic performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado this past weekend (8/4) with Yonder Mountain String Band, Earls of Leicester and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, who released their latest album on the 'Duster's own Tape Time Records.
Plans for the Infamous Stringdusters new album, scheduled for early 2019, will be announced soon.
