On Wednesday, December 15 at 1pm ET, Jackson Browne will take part in “The Sound of Activism With Tom Morello,” a virtual event from The New York Times, hosted by the acclaimed musician, activist and current Times Opinion contributor Tom Morello as he welcomes Browne and other special guests Nadya Tolokonnikova of Pussy Riot and 11-year-old drumming prodigy Nandi Bushell for an evening of conversation and song. Browne will round out the year with a headlining performance at The Capitol Theater in Portchester, NY for “The Capitol Sessions: Songs from a Rock Palace That Impacted the World.” The show will benefit HeadCount, a non-partisan voter registration advocacy organization that stages voter registration drives at more than 1,000 live events each year and collaborates with cultural leaders to promote civic engagement on a national scale.

Last month, Browne’s new album Downhill From Everywhere received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Americana Album. The album has been lauded by Associated Press, NPR's Here & Now, Rolling Stone, No Depression, American Songwriter, and many more. Browne was also the keynote speaker at this year’s AmericanaFest Conference, and made a return performance at Austin City Limits, which aired on November 13.

Browne recently wrapped his extensive US arena tour with James Taylor, which they are bringing to Canada in Spring 2022. Get full list of dates and details here: https://tour.jacksonbrowne.com/
