3x GRAMMY® Award-nominated guitar legend Joe Bonamassa and Sixthman, the leader in festivals and music cruises for more than a decade, are celebrating 10 unforgettable years at sea with an adventurous new edition of their world-famous floating Blues-Rock party, “KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE AT SEA ALASKA,” sailing September 15-21, 2025 from Seattle, WA to Ketchikan, AK, Sitka, AK, and Victoria, B.C. aboard the luxurious Norwegian Jade. Fans are highly encouraged to sign up for the pre-sale since this event has limited available cabins and will quickly sell out. Bookings are available for just $100 down per person when guests enroll in Automatic Monthly Billing before January 15, 2025 (or while cabins last).

With its majestic landscapes, diverse wildlife, and historic charm, Alaska is the perfect destination for a special new “KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE AT SEA” experience. Hosted and curated as always by the Blues Titan himself, Joe Bonamassa, “KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE AT SEA ALASKA” will present six days and nights of unforgettable adventure and amazing live performances as it cruises through pristine Pacific waters against the breathtaking backdrop of Alaska and British Columbia. The all-star lineup will feature such Blues and Blues-Rock superstars as Bonamassa (performing four shows in the Stardust Theater – two shows per guest), Marcus King, Little Feat, Marc Broussard, The Record Company, The Heavy Heavy, Shemekia Copeland, Sue Foley, Nikki Hill, Larry McCray, Vanessa Collier, Jimmy Vivino, Jade MacRae, Ariel Posen, The Cold Stares, Jeremie Albino, Angelique Francis and more to be announced. In addition, the voyage will present an incomparable array of activities, including exclusive artist collaborations, autograph sessions, and much more.

The Norwegian Jade will provide everything needed to make “KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE AT SEA ALASKA” the grandest cruise vacation ever, with fully stocked bars at (virtually) every corner, tasty elevated dining options, the Pool Deck (with multiple hot tubs), the Jade Club Casino, Mandara Spa, Body Waves Fitness Center, Sports Court, and much more.

This Alaska event follows next year’s milestone “KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE AT SEA X,” sailing March 21-26, 2025 from Miami, FL to Harvest Caye, Belize and Costa Maya, Mexico aboard Norwegian Gem. Though fully booked, Sixthman’s First Available Program releases staterooms in the months leading up to sailing that become available from cancellations or changes in operational needs every Friday. “KEEPING BLUES ALIVE AT SEA ALASKA” will once again benefit the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation (KTBA), dedicated to providing students, teachers, and musicians the resources and tools needed to further music education. Founded by Bonamassa in 2011, KTBA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to fuel the passion for music by funding programs and scholarships for students and teachers who possess the desire, but lack the resources or access to achieve their potential within music education. With total donations of over $2M from fundraisers, merchandise sales, and more, KTBA has impacted the lives of over 100,000 students in all 50 states via weekly donations to music programs in schools across the US, as well as funding other merit-based scholarships and extracurricular initiatives nationwide. In 2020, KTBA took its mission a step further by forming the Fueling Musicians Program, an emergency relief plan for touring musicians affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Fueling Musicians Program is now a permanent part of the organization, providing financial assistance for essential living expenses in order to help struggling musicians on their feet and on the road.
