"Getting the opportunity to remix Lettuce was an absolute dream come true for us. We have often referred to Lettuce as the greatest funk band active today, and we do not say that lightly! We’ve seen Lettuce in concert probably half a dozen times or more, and we wanted to be able to share their vibes with our audience in a way that fit with our sound. The original Lettuce track is from their eighth studio album, 'Unify,' released in June 2022. Featuring a guest vocal appearance from Dumpstaphunk's bass extraordinaire and song co-writer Nick Daniels, the track is an uplifting funk freight train. It represents Lettuce keyboardist Nigel Hall's reinterpretation of a classic Clark Sisters tune.
