LP Giobbi has shared a new song from her forthcoming new album Dotr, out October 18 on Ninja Tune / Counter Records. “Love Come Through” features singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Panama, singing over an ecstatic, piano-driven beat. LP Giobbi is also gearing up to play her largest headline tour yet this fall, including shows at LA’s Fonda Theatre, Denver's Mission Ballroom, and NYC’s Great Hall. See below for the full itinerary.

“I have been a fan of the way Panama's songs emote real beauty and emotion through top notch chord progressions so I was thrilled to work with him on ‘Love Come Through.’ The icing on the cake was getting to work with Natalie Grata who did the live string arrangement making that final musical moment so euphoric,” says LP Giobbi.

"When I started writing ‘Love Come Through,’ I wasn’t sure what I was trying to say at the time, but I felt like a big change was happening in my life. Looking back, I think that what I was trying to say was, although we change, there is always a constant in our lives and that is love,” says Panama.

The much anticipated follow up her 2023 debut Light Places — that earned her the title of DJ Mag’s Producer of the Year for 2023 and placed her among NPR’s Favorite New Musicians of 2023 — Dotr is named for the way LP Giobbi signed notes to her parents as a child. Built around a triage of grief, Dotr was written in the wake of the loss of three matriarchal figures in Giobbi’s life: Patricia Lynn, her mother-in-law, Carolyn Horn, her piano teacher since second grade, and Suse Millman, a longtime friend of her parents and the only professional artist she knew as a child. Built from raw, candid recordings from these friends and mentors, in addition to vocal lines from peers and heroes — including Portugal. The Man, Panama, Danielle Ponder, and more — and warm, rich melodies, Dotr is a joyous project that overcomes sadness through the exaltant revelation of what it means to live.

Previously released tracks from Dotr include “Feel (ft. Jacob Banks),” praised by Billboard for “building to a kind of serenely dancing with your eyes closed kind of place,” and “Bittersweet” (ft. Portugal. the Man), which Grimy Goods named one of the top 5 songs of the summer. “So Nice To Be In Love” features Mascolo, who is an artist recently signed to her label Yes Yes Yes. In late August LP Giobbi shared “Until There’s Nothing Left” featuring the vocals of Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes. The track has been featured on KCRW’s 5 Songs To Hear list and deemed “Powerful” by Sweety High.

LP Giobbi has graced massive festival stages — Coachella, Tomorrowland, Electric Forest, Lollapalooza, Kappa Futur, Lost Village plus Arc Music Festival, Portola & Life Is Beautiful appearances set for later this year — and crowded club floors while touring with the likes of Mochakk, DJ Tennis, John Summit, Diplo, Dead & Co, Black Coffee, and frequent collaborator Sofi Tukker. In addition to being the Global Music Director for W Hotels and being featured in a major Taco Bell spot.

LP Giobbi is also a major voice in the world of inclusion and equity in the electronic world with her 501(c)(3) nonprofit FEMME HOUSE. Since launching in 2019, FEMME HOUSE has provided thousands of female and gender expansive individuals access to production workshops, online courses, and scholarship programs to counteract gender disparities in dance music, where women make up only two percent of producers. The organization has previously joined forces with Alicia Keys’ She Is the Music and Emily Lazar’s We Are Moving the Needle.
