Recorded during The Final Round Tour 2022 in Germany, this album marks the culmination of Thompson’s illustrious live career and serves as a heartfelt farewell to fans worldwide.
The two-hour-long CD set features Chris alongside his band of 21 years: Mads Eriksen, Frank Hovland, Gunnar Bjelland, and Zsolt Meszaros, with a special appearance by guest musician Marc Rohles. Packed with fan-favorite hits and timeless classics, The Final Round delves into the rich legacy of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, including electrifying renditions of “Messin’” and “Buddha.” The album also features new original tracks by Chris Thompson, along with iconic performances like “You’re The Voice.”
