Today, Baltimore’s favorite funky foursome, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, announced the release of a new studio single. Titled “Indiglo,” the sprightly track combines PPPP’s signature uplifting funk with masterful keyboard work from Zach Gill (ALO). Available now on all streaming platforms, the single is the band’s first studio release since the 2020 album Presto. Recorded and mixed by Steve Wright (Mos Def, Slipknot) at Wright Way Studios and mastered by Tony Eichler (Disney, Netflix), the song is a vivacious reflection on personal progression and an ode to the subtle complexities presented by life on the road.

“The chorus of our new single "Indiglo" has never sounded sweeter, “we’re on the road again!” exclaimed frontman “Scrambled Greg” Ormont. “I'm so happy that this peppy tune finally got the studio treatment it deserves, complete with the lively keyboard stylings of our friend Zach Gill of ALO. Its release comes at the perfect time as we're finally back on tour doing what we love and I hope it resonates with anyone who's ready to do the same,” he added.
