September 22, 2024, marks a new chapter for the roots rock country band formerly known as Mike and the Moonpies. Now rebranded as Silverada, the group is set to perform at The Oriental Theater in Denver, CO, in celebration of their latest, boldest release yet—Silverada. Fans will witness the evolution of a band that’s taken their sound from the Texas honky-tonk scene to the world’s stages, culminating in a fresh name and a daring musical direction.

Silverada, led by frontman Mike Harmeier, has always been known for their blue-collar work ethic and dynamic performances. With a career that began in the heart of Austin, TX, playing five-hour sets on the local dancehall circuit, the band has grown into global ambassadors of Texas music. From recording at Abbey Road Studios to gracing the Grand Ole Opry, their journey has taken them far from their Austin roots. Now, with Silverada, they are breaking new ground once again.

“Back in the day, all we wanted to do was play the Broken Spoke,” reflects Harmeier. “Now, we’re looking to evolve both our sound and our live show. We’re lifers. Silverada is the next leg of the journey.”

Their ninth release, Silverada, showcases the band’s signature songwriting while breaking new sonic boundaries. Tracks like “Radio Wave” blend roots rock with Springsteen-inspired hooks, while “Stay By My Side” captures the band’s live energy, recorded in a single take at Capricorn Sound Studios. The band's new material is infused with experimental layers, including improvised sections and new instrumentation that signal their artistic growth.

For the Denver show, fans can expect a performance as bold and dynamic as the new album itself. Silverada, with its new name and expanded sound, is not just a rebranding—it’s a reinvention.

Silverada will perform live at The Oriental Theater on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Showtime begins at 8:00 PM, with tickets priced from $25 to $200.
