Groundbreaking avant-garde artists Violent Femmes are kicking off 2025 with a Spring Tour featuring a double-shot of hits. Fans will be treated to full performances of both their self-titled debut album and their sophomore record, Hallowed Ground, during each show—except in Tallahassee, where they will perform the debut album alongside fan favorites with the Tallahassee Symphony.
The Violent Femmes Tour, which will feature no opening act, begins Tuesday, March 18, at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, TX, and concludes Friday, April 4, at The Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park in Tallahassee, FL.

For these highly anticipated performances, which have drawn sold-out crowds throughout 2024, the Femmes will begin with Hallowed Ground. Following a brief intermission, they will return to perform their debut album, Violent Femmes, along with select fan and band favorites. These special shows serve as a sonic time capsule, capturing a pivotal moment in music history, hailed as “the soundtrack to male puberty.”
During the Hallowed Ground set, fans can expect songs like the bold and bluesy “Sweet Misery Blues” and the banjo-fueled “Country Death Song,” showcasing the band’s eclectic mix of country, gospel, and blues influences. This eclectic album sets the stage for the raw, raucous energy of the second half of the show.
The Violent Femmes portion will spotlight bombastic hits like “Kiss Off,” “Add It Up,” and “Gone Daddy Gone.” These tracks propelled the album to sell over three million copies worldwide and cemented its place as a cornerstone of the American underground movement. The set will also feature highlights from the band’s vast and influential repertoire.
