Shakedown Vegas proudly announces the return of its celebrated free concert and vending series at Tuscany Suites & Casino, promising an even bigger and better experience than last year. Building on the success of the 2024 residency, Shakedown Vegas 2025 will feature a slightly larger outdoor footprint, more diverse vendor offerings, and a robust lineup of more than 40 local and out-of-state bands filling 80 distinct performance slots over the course of the residency.
Expanded Outdoor Vending and Footprint
This year, all 18 vending events will move from the Tuscany’s indoor ballroom to the hotel’s south parking lot, a decision that not only offers a larger space for attendees but also allows vendors to nearly double their set-up areas. Over 130 different vendors—ranging from returning favorites to first-time participants—will showcase a wide array of handmade and artist-designed goods. Shakedown Vegas remains committed to celebrating differences, acceptance, and inclusion, ensuring attendees encounter a welcoming environment filled with unique crafts, clothing, and artwork.
New Culinary Offerings
In addition to the expanded vendor list, a select number of food trucks will make their Shakedown Vegas debut. Visitors can expect classic “lot” favorites such as grilled cheese sandwiches and vegetarian dishes, along with mouthwatering local tacos, among other specialties.
Pre-Legendary Live Music Concert Series
Shakedown Vegas continues its free music tradition with performances taking place on two daytime stages from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each event day—the Outdoor Main Stage (among the vendors) and the Piazza Lounge. In the evening, the Piazza Lounge and the Copa Room will host the fan-favorite Shakedown After Dark Series, giving attendees two live music options every Friday and Saturday night.
Returning acts include Lonn Calanca Band, Xtra Ticket, Legion Of Mario, Token Rhyme, and Marcus Rezak, while newcomers such as Pete Sawyer & The Left Hand Monkey Wrench Gang, The Alligators, Bella Rayne & Friends, and Terrapin Flyer will make their Shakedown After Dark debut. A special highlight is Tony Saunders’s tribute performance on Thursday, May 15, honoring his father Merl Saunders and the late Jerry Garcia with Keystone Revisited. “Waiting On The Band” Wednesday Warm-Up Party
New to Shakedown Vegas 2025 is the midweek “Waiting On The Band” Wednesday celebration. From 7:00 p.m. to midnight each Wednesday (kicking off on May 8), live bands will perform in the Piazza Lounge to welcome travelers as they arrive. Inspired by Victoria Crane’s Facebook Group—which shares pictures of fans waiting for shows around the world—these Wednesday events reflect Shakedown Vegas’s core mission of creating fun, inclusive spaces where everyone can enjoy live music and camaraderie.
Musical Sunday Brunch
Capping each weekend, Tuscany Suites & Casino will host a musical brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sundays. Shakedown Vegas is thrilled to have David Gans, host of the Grateful Dead Radio Hour, kick off this series on Sunday, March 22. Gans will trade sets with the Pits Players, providing a laid-back morning soundtrack while guests enjoy brunch offerings (details about reservations will be announced soon).
