Taj Mahal Added to Last Waltz 40 Tour

Garth Hudson, one of two remaining original members of THE BAND and Taj Mahal the multi-GRAMMY AWARD®-winning blues singer-songwriter-composer have been added to remaining dates alongside Warren Haynes, Dr. John, Jamey Johnson and Don Was on the second leg of the 2017 “LAST WALTZ 40 TOUR.” Garth and Taj will be playing all dates listed below to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Band’s historical farewell concert.
 
Hudson, the iconic multi-instrumentalist has been credited by his band members and brothers Robbie, Levon, Rick, and Richard for being the resident musical genius of The Band and helped create their unmistakable sound. 
 
Taj Mahal, the two-time GRAMMY AWARD®-winning singer-songwriter-composer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist was recently feted with the Lifetime Achievement for Performance Award at the Americana Honors and Awards after decades of recording and touring that reshaped the definition and scope of the blues via the infusion of exotic sounds from the Caribbean, Africa and South Pacific.
