Country superstar Tim McGraw landed his 14th No. one album debut on the Billboard Country Albums chart this week with the release of TWO LANES OF FREEDOM. The album also claims the top spot on the All-Genre Digital Albums chart amid a coast-to-coast release week that took the PLATINUM selling entertainer from The Super Bowl to the GRAMMY Awards. Music critics are praising the 11 song disc for its impressive balance of iconic McGraw material with broader new sounds influenced by everything from celtic to piano pop.
Up next for McGraw is an all-star concert special, ACM PRESENTS: TIM McGRAW'S SUPERSTAR SUMMER NIGHT, taping April 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and broadcast at a later date on the CBS Television Network. He will be handpicking the hottest music of summer and calling on his friends to help kick off the 2013 touring season. He'll launch his own TWO LANES OF FREEDOM 2013 TOUR, presented by Pennzoil, in Birmingham, AL on May 2 and continue on to 30 cities through July. The U.S. trek will also feature emerging artists Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft.
