Alternative Power Productions, The Madero Group and Indie Yoga proudly present: V Elements (pronounced "Five Elements"). V Elements is a BRAND NEW, all-ages, solar and alternatively powered yoga, music and culture festival taking place April 6th, 2013 at Liberty Station, San Diego. There will be yoga classes by day, led by some of the most sought after instructors California has to offer, and electronic, funk, hip hop, soul and world music by night from local, regional and national touring artists. V Elements will focus on balancing the five elements represented by space, air, water, fire and earth through the use of yoga, music, community, health and environment. Among several highlights for the event, V Elements will be bringing in the largest solar powered stage in the county, which has been featured in Rolling Stone! Other unique offerings include Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter sponsored beach clean ups, a libations garden, Dr. Bronner's ALL-One Ark Village, free massages and body work and much more.
V Elements is thrilled to announce the first phase of our musician and yoga instructor lineup! Additional artists will be announced soon in phase two of our announcement roll out, so stay tuned!
The V Elements initial musician lineup includes Zion I, Govinda, and Nahko and Medicine for the People, Sir Charles, DINK. Yoga instructors include; Charity Rahmer (Founder and Instructor at Indie Yoga), Luke Wientzen (Instructor at Bird Rock Yoga and Indie Yoga), Nikki Krause (Instructor and manager at CorePower Yoga), John Jay Verhagen (Instructor at Indie Yoga), Carolina Moreira (Instructor and manager at Pilgrimage of the Heart).
