Powerhouse vocal duo The War And Treaty announce headlining dates to their summer run today ahead of their overseas trek that includes stops in the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy and the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom (6/24). With over 40 performances internationally and stateside, the new dates take the duo to Chicago, IL (7/08) before making their return to New Orleans, LA, (10/19) following their recent performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival where they "quickly won over the crowd with their charismatic mix of roots rock, blues, classic R&B and soul," (NOLA.com). Following their recent string of shows in Australia including Bluesfest where "their sets would soon be the talk of the festival," (ABC-AU) the International Folk Music Awards “2021 Artist of the Year” continue their overseas trek this summer with stops in Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Scotland. The husband-and-wife team of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter continue "flooring music festival crowds and consistently winning over new fans" (Wide Open Country) as it was recently announced that they will join Dave Matthews Band in George, WA (9/02) and perform at this year’s Telluride Blues & Brews Festival (9/16) following their run with Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival (8/12 - 8/14).
Today, The War And Treaty earned a nomination for “Duo/Group of the Year” at the 2022 Americana Honors & Awards Ceremony after recently honoring Ray Charles’ with a performance of his iconic track, “You Don’t Know Me,” during the late singer's induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame which can be viewed here.
