WE BANJO 3 will kick off their "Earth & Sky" tour in the U.S. on February 9th in Kent, Washington, culminating with a two night stint at The Ark in Ann Arbor in late March.  Beginning March 8th, We Banjo 3 will be joined by Scottish band TALISK, who were recently named “Folk Band Of The Year 2017” at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.

Mike Gordon and his band will play a weekend of Northeast dates in March along with a hometown show in Burlington in April. The run includes stops in Philadelphia at Union Transfer (3/9), Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn (3/10), and The Egg in Albany (3/11). The band will also return to Higher Ground in Burlington, VT (4/5) as part of the club's month-long 20th Anniversary celebration.

Emancipator (Doug Appling) releases 'Baralku,' the third single and title track from his 14 track LP out on his Loci Records imprint  November 17. The string-heavy, softly layered stunner "Baralku" premiering on This Song Is Sick, follows the moody 'Ghost Pong' and jazzy 'Goodness' lead singles. The classically trained electronic artist and producer also announces a 25-date 'Baralku Tour,' featuring his five-piece Emancipator Ensemble, kicking off on January 30, 2018.

One of bluegrass music's most formidable bands, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, is announcing the departure of one of their long-time members, Justen Haynes, who has been the fiddle player for over 12 years.
 

Cellist and composer Zoë Keating is a one-woman orchestra. She uses a cello and a foot-controlled laptop to record layer upon layer of cello, creating intricate, haunting and compelling music. Zoë is known for both her use of technology – which she uses to sample her cello onstage – and for her DIY approach, releasing her music online without the help of a record label.

Deep in the heart of Okeechobee’s tropical setting, JUNGLE 51 returns to OMF 2018 to set night owls’ and thrill seekers’ pulses on fire. Since 2016, the mystical enclave has become a place where humans and aliens alike come to lose themselves to cosmic house and techno music, becoming completely engulfed by light and sound until the early morning hours.

JOE PERRY--legendary guitarist, co-founding member, principal songwriter and co-producer of Aerosmith--has assembled an all-star band to perform alongside him at the sold-out record release show Tuesday, January 16 at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.  The show comes three days before the release of his SWEETZERLAND MANIFESTO album.

Chris Robinson has songs he wants to sing. As frontman for The Black Crowes—one of the most prolific and celebrated rock 'n' roll bands of its generation—he co-wrote classics like "Jealous Again," "Remedy," "She Talks To Angels," "Twice As Hard" and "Sometimes Salvation." With a desire to breathe new life into this storied repertoire, Robinson has gathered five musicians whose musical journeys intertwine with his own, including guitarists Marcus King and Audley Freed, keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Andy Hess and drummer Tony Leone.

Joshua Redman is one of the most acclaimed and charismatic jazz artists to have emerged in the decade of the 1990s. Born in Berkeley, California, he is the son of legendary saxophonist Dewey Redman and dancer Renee Shedroff.

Singer-songwriter Andrew Sheppard grew up in Hailey, Idaho in an extended musical family--his mother was always playing and singing in rock and blues bands. As a kid Andrew was always at his mom's rehearsals and live shows, drawing in the music as a constant. He was playing bass in punk rock bands in high school and by the age of 19, picked up the guitar and started writing his own songs. 10 years later, he is poised to release his sophomore album, Steady Your Aim on March 23rd.
