To everything there is a season, the saying goes, and for Wayne and Kristin Scott Benson, the time has come — not to abandon the successful musical ventures they’ve been involved in for years, but to add a new one: their first truly collaborative effort under their own name.

With recent press acclaims coming from NPR, Paste Magazine, WNYC, and many more media outlets, Cinder Well is releasing the third single, “A Scorched Lament”, from her upcoming album, Cadence, on Free Dirt Records (due out April 21, 2023). The single features a brand-new and haunting music video from Cinder Well shot by Irish videographer Ruth Clinton of the band Landless.

This Spring, Grammy Award-winning Americana adventurers, The Okee Dokee Brothers, invite families on a woodland musical escapade as they wander deep inside the forest of imagination to Brambletown. The album is a 17-song collection that celebrates a fantastical place where “critters can talk, trees can walk and nothing’s as it seems.”

Chromatic harmonica player and vibraphonist Hendrik Meurkens leads his Samba Jazz Quartet featuring drummer Portinho to celebrate the music of the great Roberto Menescal and others. Joining Hendrik will be Misha Tsiganov on piano, Gili Lopez on bass, and Portinho on drums.
