The Get Right Band out of Asheville, NC, will be releasing their 5th studio album on 5/23/2020.  My only complaint is that it can’t come out sooner.  With 14 tracks and an edgy vibe, these songs are keeping me dancing while the #shelterinplace order continues.

The “We Are Still All Together” Tour 2020 from Devon Allman’s house is entering a second phase after a week off.   The shows are averaging 73,000 views a piece with wonderful feedback on the sound quality and interaction with the fans.   Gibson Guitars, Earthworks Audio, Meyer Sound Lab, and Kyser Musical Products have been amazing supporters of the event posting to their social media and spreading the word.

The Wood Brothers have announced a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for people negatively affected by the disastrous March 3 tornado that claimed five lives and injured more than 200 people along its 60-mile path through Middle Tennessee. Particularly impacted were residents of the band's adopted hometown, Nashville, TN.

Ian Anderson and his longtime friend/collaborator Leslie Mandoki have recorded the song “We Say Thank You,” as a dedication to everyone on the frontline, from the doctors to grocery store workers, in the unbelievable Coronavirus battle.  The hashtag to use is “#WeSayThankYou”

Written by the Hungarian-born/German producer/songwriter/bandleader of Soulmates (which has featured Ian through the years), “#WeSayThankYou” was written in the context of Leslie’s own isolation in Germany, where his doctor wife, Eva, is a first contact physician.

Until Ric Ocasek died, my knowledge of Cheap Trick‘s music revolved primarily around their “Live At Budokan” album and the stuff I heard on the radio and saw on MTV. Pretty good stuff. Ric Ocasek was the driving force behind the band, The Cars, so actually had nothing to do with Cheap Trick, but we’ll get to that.

The third and final installment of WWG TV's debut season will air this coming Friday, April 10th and promises to highlight the inherent collaborative nature of the WinterWonderGrass community formally entitled, "Connection & Collaboration."
