Fresh off of recent visits to Red Rocks to support The Wood Brothers, and to Nashville for a packed showcase at Americanafest, Fruition continues to roll out new tour dates to close out 2019. The band has added dates in California, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas to previously announced headline shows and festivals in Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oregon and Washington.

Last month, beloved singer-songwriter Pete Yorn released Caretakers (via Shelly Music), his first solo album in three years. This November and December, Pete will hit the road on his first full band tour of North America in over three years with a backing band made up of members of the celebrated indie dream-pop group Day Wave, including Jackson Phillips who co-produced Caretakers with Yorn.

Mipso, North Carolina’s acclaimed indie-Americana quartet, today release the video for their hit single “People Change.” The beautifully animated video illustrates the complicated emotions explored in the song’s lyrics – the intimate loss of losing someone, not necessarily from death or from a romantic break, but the equally heartbreaking experience of growing up and growing apart. OHANA FESTIVAL--the three-day festival curated by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder--has confirmed its 2019 sponsors and on-site activations, while also revealing set times for the annual event.

A little over 43 years ago, Meridian, MS, native Steve Forbert boarded a train bound for New York City. Twenty-one years old at the time, Forbert, with his guitar and harmonica, spent two years working his way up from street performer living at the YMCA to filling historic Greenwich Village clubs and signing a major label contract. By 1979, Forbert had really hit his stride, releasing Jackrabbit Slim, which produced his first top 40 hit, “Romeo’s Tune,” and afforded Forbert the opportunity to share his music with the world.
