Prolific rockers Umphrey’s McGee are proud to announce The Woodlands Fall Music & Arts Festival, a brand new event happening in Charleston, SC, on November 8-9.

Scott Seisler, former drummer and singer from the band Black Rooster, started his music career in a unique way. It was born as a coping mechanism following tragedy that struck not once, but three times. Seisler lost his younger brother, Shawn, to an opioid-related suicide. Shortly after, his parents Paul and Beverly were both diagnosed with cancer and passed away within five months of each other. With his entire immediate family gone within a few years, Seisler decided to turn to music to heal and embark on spreading the message about the opioid and suicide crises. To help achieve this, Seisler has partnered with Glenn Close’s organization, Bring Change To Mind, donating a portion of proceeds from album sales to the organization whose mission is to end the stigma and discrimination that surrounds mental illness.

Nashville’s Callie McCullough, a modern songwriter inspired by timeless bluegrass and old-school country music, has released the gently-rolling “Five Dollar Pearls.” The song which debuted earlier this week with The Bluegrass Situation is the lead single from her forthcoming After Midnight EP which is expected to be released in winter (exact date TBA).

Thirty-five years ago, having met when Steve Kimock auditioned for former Grateful Dead members Keith and Donna Jean Godchaux’s Heart of Gold Band (which already had Greg Anton as its drummer), Greg and Steve recorded an album, Greg on drums and piano, Steve on guitars and bass.  Then they started a band to play the music.

An evening with decker. is a rock 'n' roll concert, a traveling salvation show and a healthy dose of desert psychedelia. It's designed to move souls, to leave its grooves on listeners, to elevate the collective consciousness of the audience through the music and the words of the lead visionary himself, Brandon Decker. This is what his following has come to expect of him—part frontman, part preacher. Though there is no religion being spoken of, there is a gospel according to decker.
