The CITYPAK Project, a charitable initiative that provides specially designed backpacks to empower the homeless, will distribute CITYPAK backpacks to those in need at five upcoming events in Los Angeles. Beginning Tuesday, February 14th – Valentine’s Day – distributions will take place at shelters and community centers throughout the city that serve the homeless, including at-risk homeless youth and the LGBT community.

An inexplicably authentic instrumentalist known for his work as a sideman with Hayes Carll, Linville moves to the front of the stage to start his release tour this week.

The 405 has shared Jesse Hale Moore's newest single entitled, "Calling You Out". When discussing the track, Moore says, "Calling You Out" is a song about finding the strength to say the things that don't always come easy when facing a conflict with somebody you care about. It can be difficult and frustrating when a person in your life, especially somebody you love, is unable or unwilling to change.

In a career that spans over five decades, John McLaughlin, one of music’s most influential and prolific guitarists, composers, and bandleaders, will begin his farewell U.S. tour on November 1 in Buffalo, NY.  McLaughlin will be joined by Jimmy Herring, who has been in the creative forefront of the American rock-jam movement for 25 years.  The Meeting of the Spirits tour will hit 23 cities before ending in Los Angeles on December 9.

Recorded at The Rec Room, Ben Surratt’s studio in East Nashville, Take Five will be independently released on March 31, 2017. Self-produced, the 14-track album is a mix of originals and covers and clocks in at just under 45 minutes.
