Today, international punk band Gogol Bordello & friends, led by Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz, release a collaborative single for charity, “United Strike Back.” Out on Hütz’s own label, Casa Gogol, the track features punk & hardcore heavy hitters like Tre Cool (Green Day), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Joe Lally (Fugazi, The Messthetics), Roger Miret (Agnostic Front), Monte Pittman (Ministry), Sasha (Kazka) and Puzzled Panther.

New York City Blues-Rockers Jane Lee Hooker are releasing a new single and video for the track White Gold – taken from their Rollin’ album. The name Melvin Seals is synonymous with the Jerry Garcia Band. Seals spent fifteen years playing keyboards with Jerry Garcia and helped define the sound of the JGB Band. Seals is a gifted player and his love of all music has presented him with many open doors in the music industry. From performing to producing and recording Seals has been on the scene for over three decades and shows no signs of slowing down.

Music Worcester brings Sam Bush, known as “The King of Newgrass” and his revolutionary take on bluegrass to Worcester’s Hanover Theatre on June 9. The mandolin/fiddle/guitar-playing icon has taken the genre to new heights over a 50+ year career as a founding member of The New Grass Revival, and working with such legends as Leon Russell, Emmylou Harris,  Lyle Lovett, and Béla Fleck & The Flecktones.

The music world is still reeling from Jeff Beck’s death earlier this year. The legendary guitarist, renowned by both fans and many of his peers as the greatest of all-time, passed away on January 10 at the age of 78.
 

Buffalo, NY's moe. returned to the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY on May 18, 2023 for the first time in four years to kick off a rare three night run at the storied venue. This band has seen their ups and downs lately, particularly with the untimely medical hiatus of guitarist Chuck Garvey after suffering a stroke in 2021. Thankfully Garvey has recovered, and the band is on the upswing having just wrapped up a stacked Spring tour. They were all smiles while delivering moe.
