Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty has announced the line-up for the sixth annual Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival to be held on the Green on Saturday, August 20, from noon until 10:00 p.m. This year’s free concert will celebrate the 90th birthday of legendary jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli who has become a regular fixture at the annual festival.

Austin, Texas-based duo The Wind and The Wave, newest signing to Island Records, released their brand new single, “Grand Canyon,” the first advance track from their long-awaited second album, HAPPINESS IS NOT A PLACE, produced by Butch Walker, due later this year.

2016 marks the 8th year of one of the Western Region's most unique, most celebrated, and least known-about annual events.  The Pirate Party is an annual three-day music and arts festival that has gained a cult following among music fans all across the Northwest.

These songs were not intended for a record release. There was no shiny wrapper in their future. They were created as far away from the music machine as possible, even as their journey started under cover of headphones, in a van, in the middle of a long year of touring a different project. These songs began with a resolution.

On Saturday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. the Mahwah Museum will host the Jazz and Blues Guitar Celebration at Ramapo College Trustees Pavilion, 505 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah.  There will be live and silent auctions of many special guitars and music memorabilia, live entertainment and a raffle drawing.   This event will be the culmination of the Museums yearlong celebration of Les Paul’s 100th birthday

One year ago, Forlorn Strangers packed up all of their belongings in Nashville, TN and put them into storage. They headed out on the road, and played their first official show in Indianapolis on May 7th, 2015 - the start of their new nomadic lifestyle and dedication to music. The quintet will release Forlorn Strangers, their self-titled debut full length album, on August 5th, 2016.
