The Lawrence Busker Festival will be taking over the streets of Downtown Lawrence, Kansas for its 12th year over Memorial Day weekend. Performers at the Lawrence Busker Festival amazes crowds annually with feats of danger, flexibility, strength, magic, and comic relief. This year’s Lawrence Busker Festival is the very first festival of its kind, in the world, that will feature all female performers.

So, I’m breaking out my camping gear - cleaning out the tent, waterproofing it, freshening up the sleeping bag.  It’s the weekend before Summer Camp Music Festival! Recently, I caught Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Twiddle on the Road to Red Rocks, and they were on fire! Twiddle is new to me. I really enjoyed the vibe going on between these two east coast bands.  They both are playing Summer Camp festival on a seemingly relentless touring schedule.

The second day of the 2019 Beale Street Music Festival began on a soggy Saturday afternoon with a big surprise. Less than 24 hours earlier, one of America’s biggest pop stars, Miley Cyrus had tweeted that she was coming to Memphis to sing at the festival. There were no details on what time or which stage she might perform on, but the Facebook sponsored surprise appearance was big news for media outlets in the music world.

Rival Entertainment announced today the daily lineups for the 2019 Candler Park Music & Food Festival.
