The first weekend of August will once again mark the arrival of YarmonyGrass at Rancho Del Rio and State Bridge Riverside Amphitheatre along the Colorado River.

After a landmark year in 2011, the eighth annual RIOT FEST--the music festival which celebrates rock, indie, punk and underground artists from every era--is expanding for the first-time ever into an outdoor music event and carnival in 2012.

Boasting the best lineup to date, Camp Euforia releases its two-day schedule featuring over 20 artists and three full sets from Eufórquestra, including a Beck cover set. And for the first time in it's nine-year existence, Camp Euforia will offer single-day tickets for Saturday, July 14th.

I had a dream about Steve Martin, last night..

I knew I'd be writing this story, today.. That's likely why he was on my mind.  Of course he was in a white suit, with an arrow headband on his head.  [I'm a child of the seventies, after all..] But instead of playing for laughs, he was picking his banjo with fire, along with a bevy of world-class bluegrass musicians.  This was an especially fun dream, considering I've never seen him perform in any capacity beyond the movie theater.
