Just as the day prior, the Tennessee sun decided to give me a rude awakening by cooking me alive in my tent. Sleep is not something that happens very often at a major music festival. Either you are up too late or the morning comes too soon. Thank goodness for pure adrenaline and Kashi granola bars… it’s the little things that keep you grooving! When making our way to Centeroo for the start of day 3, we stumbled across this fellow attempting to channel his inner George Harrison<
Sporting muddy bare feet and a flowing tie-dyed sundress, a flaxen-haired teen pumped up Sunday’s physically drained crowd by waiving a satellite image of “our home from outer space.” Reminding us that “this is where we live,” the angelic blonde implored us not to “throw your garbage on the ground, because that’s where the animals and the birds and the fish and the ocean live!” Why sweat the details? She’s on the right track!

As a relative newcomer to Colorado, I've been waiting to find a festival than can live up to the wonderful Arkansas festivals I've come to know and love over the years. I can definitely say I've found just such a festival high in the mountains at Rancho Del Rio, YarmonyGrass.
