Last year I wrote a preview for a festival I had never attended. This year I write a demand for anyone who considers themselves fans of bluegrass. Go to Grey Fox!For 37 years, this festival has been doing it right. It’s the total package.

Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers are heading out with Railroad Earth this summer for a string of dates along both coasts, hitting several festivals along the way.  The Noise of the Earth Tour will kick off in Eugene, Oregon with a July 5th performance at the Cascadia Music Festival and continues on through August 10th in Atlanta's Botanical Gardens.

Electric Forest - returning to the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan on June 27- June 30 - is just two weeks away. MCP Presents, producers of Camp Bisco the annual three-day music and arts festival, in Mariaville, New York, has announced a fundraising campaign to aid in Schenectady County relief efforts in the wake of last week’s EF2 tornados. Touching down in Mariaville, NY, the town which Camp Bisco has called home for the last seven years, two twisters tore through 17 miles of Schenectady County with winds coming in at 125 m.p.h. and spreading over a mile wide. While substantial property damage occurred, no one was fatally injured.

A major new festival known as The White River Arts & Music Festival (WARMfest) today announced that its inaugural three-day event would take place on Labor Day weekend Saturday, August 31; Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2 at Broad Ripple Park in Indianapolis.
