Webster’s dictionary defines the word community as “a unified body of individuals with common interests living in a particular area” and the municipality of Fort Collins, Colorado may demonstrate this theme better than most conglomerates its size. From safe, city-wide bike lanes to a plethora of year-round family-oriented events and activities, the community is a common thread seen throughout the face of infrastructure as well as the citizenry.

Proving that the Grateful Dead’s community and spirit prevails, LOCKN’s line-up weaves a colorful tapestry of tributes to the Dead and beyond. Renowned for its collaborative sets that put the biggest names in the jam scene together on one stage, next weekend will see Bob Weir and our favorite tributes to the Grateful Dead come together at Infinity Downs & Oak Ridge Farm in Nelson County, Virginia August 22 – 25.

Lights All Night, one of the longest running end-of-the-year parties in Dallas and across the country, is excited to officially announce the music lineup for the 10th annual music festival returning to Dallas Market Hall near downtown Dallas, Texas on Friday and Saturday, December 27 and 28 of New Year’s Eve weekend.

Rebelle Road, is an all-female entertainment company dedicated to strengthening the California Country music community and for expanding the role for women in the Americana/roots music genre.

It was a summer New England weekend at the site of the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, MA. The 7th Levitate Music & Arts Festival was underway with some big names in rock, reggae, blues, and jam music. Not only does it bring great music, but it also brings great philanthropy and a homegrown vibe. 

For the fourth straight week, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has announced ten more artists for their 2019 festival which takes place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on October 4-6. As with past lineup reveals, fans were treated to a sneak-peek audio clip of the soon-to-be-announced artists on HSB’s social media accounts earlier this week. Upon hearing what HSB calls the weekly “artist medley,” fans hypothesized in the comment section about who might be added to the lineup.

Attendees gathered gracefully for the 7th Annual ARISE Music Festival at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado to set intentions, relish in world-renowned teaching, and dance their hearts away to some of the best national musical acts and pioneers in our beloved music scene. With over 450 programmed acts, Arise Festival covered a lot of ground in bringing top-notch entertainment and education to their guests.

The 12th incarnation of the Petaluma Music Festival, proceeds of which are allocated to local public school’s music programs, packed a potent punch on August 3. This year’s all-Bay-Area-band fest’s pleasing musical patchwork, which fueled lively dancing, swaying and foot-tapping, was led by prominent rock ‘n’ jam bands ALO, David Nelson Band, The Mother Hips, Hot Buttered Rum, Blame Sally, New Monsoon, and Royal Jelly Live.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass keeps the lineup announcements rolling this week. Through their traditional “artist medley” teases, fans were treated to a sneak-peek audio clip of unannounced artists on HSB’s social media accounts earlier in the week. Today, HSB revealed ten new artists who will join the twenty previously announced artists for the festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park this October 4-6.

The final day of the last Warped Tour was a sobering experience. The mood was heavy with anticipation among those in attendance. However, most fans did not show up as early as they did the morning before as lines were manageable, to say the least, that Sunday. The unofficial punk rock summer camp went out with a bang, not a fizzle, as the day’s lineup more than lived up to the hype throughout the day.
