Some forty or so years ago in the Summer of Love, tens of thousands of Northern Californians – and soon after, many more Americans – changed their minds about certain aspects of American life.  They decided that spending their lives in the pursuit of fun and a higher wisdom would be preferable to an existence devoted exclusively to getting, spending, and serving corporations.  They decided that all of this would be best accompanied by music.

Today Electric Forest is proud to announce the following additions to the 2011 lineup: Conspirator, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Zach Deputy, Future Rock, Papadosio, Dieselboy, That 1 Guy, Porter Robinson, Keys N Krates, Van Ghost, Lance Herbstrong, Cas Haley, Zedd, Michal Menert, and The Werks.  These 15 acts join the already stellar list of acts

With the third annual festival on the horizon, B.O.M.B. Fest is proud to announce it’s the full line up and two-day schedule HERE for the Memorial Day Weekend event (Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th) at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT.

The second annual Hangout Music Festival is sold out.  The 3-day beach music festival, now one of the largest weekend festivals in the US, takes place May 20-22 with performances from over 70 bands including Paul Simon, Foo Fighters, Widespread Panic, The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, The Flaming Lips, andCee Lo Green.

St. Cecilia's is one of the most beautiful and vital churches in Brooklyn. We are excited to be working with this community institution and proud to say that St. Cecilia's will be an important part of Northside Festival 2011. There will be four shows taking place at the most spectacular venue imaginable.

Trampled by Turtles are coming to the Soo Pass Ranch, home of the WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN!  The energy packed, speed pickin' bluegrass band will be the main event on Saturday, July 2nd at the new, High Plains Festival presented by Summit Brewing Company and High Plains Reader.  The Duluth Quintet is hard to define.  Call it alt-bluegrass, nontraditional string, indi-folk

Created by The L Magazine, The Northside Festival, June 16-19, is a four-day celebration of Brooklyn and what’s next in Music, Art, Film and Ideas. The best regional, national and global talent will be showcased, all within the walkable radius of Williamsburg and Greenpoint.

Northside Music:

The KahBang Festival is proud to announce the initial music lineup for the 2011 KahBang music | art | film Festival. The third-annual KahBang will be held August 5th – 13th along the Bangor Waterfront and in multiple venues throughout the historic downtown area. During the festival’s 9-day span, KahBang will showcase over 40 bands on multiple stages along the Waterfront as well as additional performances in Bangor venues, clubs and bars.

After much coordination and navigation, our group celebrated the successful creation of a small tent/popup, tapestry and solar light embellished village by partaking in a few ice cold libations before heading toward the music. As we walked in the dark down the windy dirt road in the direction of deep rooted bass and canopy swinging melodies, a myriad of bioluminescent extensions of the forest helped to light our way.

The 15th Annual All Good Festival gave its followers a gift on 420 by announcing the late night lineup for the event.  Late Night performers will include Pretty Lights, Umphrey's McGee, STS9, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and Big Gigantic. Tickets are available now at www.allgoodfestival.com
