Planet Bluegrass, organizers of Rockygrass, Lyons Folks Fest, and the famed Telluride Bluegrass Festival—which has coincided with the summer solstice for 5 decades—are pleased to announce Mabon, a new concert series programmed in conjunction with longtime Planet Bluegrass fan-favorite, Watchhouse. Mabon will take place September 16-18 in Lyons, Colorado, at the Planet Bluegrass Ranch during the Autumn equinox.

The 6th Suwannee Roots Revival takes place Thursday, October 13 - Sunday, October 16 at the renowned Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida. We are excited to announce an additional round of artists to this incredible lineup that includes JJ Grey & Mofro, Punch Brothers, Peter Rowan's Bluegrass Band, Donna the Buffalo, Kitchen Dwellers, Jon Stickley Trio, Jim Lauderdale, and Seth Walker.

The Great Blue Heron Music Festival in Sherman, New York, took place once again the first weekend in July. For nearly 30 years, this annual event has drawn thousands of fans from across the U.S. It is a tradition for many young and old, as an event to celebrate music, nature and the spirit of self-expression.

This year, The Heron organizers have expanded on this concept with an extended summer music series, aptly named, “Beyond the Blue.”

Instrument makers from around New England will be front and center at this year’s Lowell Folk Festival celebrating the art & craft that goes into making the unique sounds that come from the Festival’s world class musical performers.  Known for its eclectic blend of music, food and art, the 35th Anniversary of the Lowell Folk Festival returns in person July 29-31.

The inaugural, three-day Bluegrass festival dubbed CROWE FEST is set for August 25, 26 and 27. The event celebrates the legendary banjo picker and Grammy Award-winner J.D. Crowe, whose fearless bending of the genre introduced new listeners to Bluegrass. The Fest will be held at Meadowgreen Appalachian Music Park in Clay City, Kentucky - just 40 miles from Crowe’s Lexington birthplace.

Philadelphia Folk Festival has announced a final round of artists set to perform at its 60th anniversary celebration on August 18-21, 2022.
