Elephant Revival Featured In Season Premiere Of CPT 12 “Open Air Live & Local”

Colorado-based Elephant Revival will be featured in the season premiere of “Open Air Live & Local” airing on CPT 12 on Saturday (10/1) at 9:30p.m. The segment will include performances from their first-ever headlining show at Red Rocks and the CPR Studio. The band’s been touring nonstop in support of their album Petals, which has been featured in UTNE Reader, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post and more. Don’t miss their upcoming performances as they join the Colorado Symphony Orchestra at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, CO on 11/26 and perform in Boulder, CO (12/8) and Fort Collins, CO (12/9).

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders. The duo is joined by drummer Bill Vitt and bassist John Kahn, who soon became a lifelong Garcia collaborator.
