In February of last year (2020), Pale Ramon began recording their sophomore album, 'Annie,' in the Catskills with D. James Goodwin at The Isokon. At the conclusion of those sessions, they left feeling elated, and continued production back home in Brooklyn. As New York went into lockdown last March, the duo began working on the album in their home studios separately. Every few weeks, they shared their individual productions, while living the universal tension of COVID and the 2020 election year. After a few additional days at The Creamery studio with Jeff Fettig in September, they sent the tracks back to Goodwin for the final mix and mastering.
