WinterWonderGrass Festival has seen huge success since the line up announce for Steamboat Springs, Colorado and have just announced the festival is officially sold out. WinterWonderGrass, a sustainable, community-focused, lifestyle-driven bluegrass and craft brew experience is likely to have its largest attendance to date this coming year in Steamboat . The festival went on sale with three day festival tickets on October 13 and has sold out of all ticket types.
Paramount to the WinterWonderGrass mission is giving back to the local communities. Over the past five years, WinterWonderGrass has donated to local charitable organizations focusing on music and arts education, environmental protection and disaster relief. In support of #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving on November 29, WinterWonderGrass is donating 20% of all ticket sales to the six non profit organizations that they support between both festivals.
This year the festival has aligned with local Lake Tahoe organizations The Shane McConkey Foundation, Tahoe Food Hub and Arts for Schools as well as Colorado non profits, Educational Foundation of Eagle County [E•ƒ(ec)], Routt County United Way and Yampatika. The goal of the Shane McConkey Foundation to inspire others to make a difference in the world through random acts of kindness, donating to hundreds of charities each year to influence change. Tahoe Food Hub is an organization that is working to restore local food distribution by building a regional food system for North Lake Tahoe. WinterWonderGrass works closely with the Tahoe Food Hub to provide locally sourced on site for fans and artists. Arts for Schools works to enhance our children's education and fills the gaps in visual and performing arts education for more than 10,000 children at K-12 schools. Arts for Schools will be managing the Kids Tent at WinterWonderGrass Tahoe providing creative crafts and activities. In conjunction, the Educational Foundation of Eagle County who provides funding for tools, technology and staff within Eagle County Schools will be hosting the Kids Tent in Steamboat. Routt County United Way is instrumental in providing resources to advance the Steamboat Springs community impact in education, income stability, and health. Yampatika’s mission is to inspire environmental stewardship through education.
WinterWonderGrass has established itself as the premier winter music and brew festival in the country, featuring more than 25 bands performing on four stages over three days.
