The event Paris est une fête was shared in the Stade de France to an audience of over 80,000 including Paralympic athletes and delegates including French President Emmanuel Macron and the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo. It was a spectacular celebration of France’s profound influence on global electronic music.   

Jean-Michel Jarre, an iconic figure in electronic music, will open and close the Paris 2024 Closing Ceremony on September 8, celebrating the legacy and modernity of the French electronic scene.

In a festive and dazzling atmosphere at the Stade de France, the maestro is set to deliver a memorable finale, before passing the baton to the the top French electronic music artists and young DJ’s.

Jean-Michel Jarre has released today, February 23 Versailles 400, a spectacular mixed-reality concert-film and live digital album. Versailles 400 is much more than just a concert. Here Jarre explores new territories, including visual expression and where AI becomes an artistic partner. The result is a multisensory experience that transports the audience into a completely new universe.

Jean-Michel Jarre has collaborated with Armin van Buuren on “EPICA MAXIMA,” a re-interpretation of “EPICA” from Jarre’s last album OXYMORE. It is the second time the two electronic music behemoths have worked together. Their previous collaboration, “Stardust,” was the most popular track from Jarre’s 2015 album Electronica having been streamed well over eight million times to date. The track is included on Jarre’s new project OXYMOREWORKS, also out today (November 3) on SONY Music.

Today, October 13, Jean-Michel Jarre reveals his collaboration with French pluridisciplinary artist NSDOS. “Zeitgeist Take 2” is a new interpretation of “Zeitgeist,” one of the tracks from Jarre’s 2022 album OXYMORE. The new version appears on the forthcoming collection OXYMOREWORKS, due for release on November 3.

Jean-Michel Jarre announces OXYMOREWORKS, a collection of collaborations with other artists, to be released on November 3. The nine-track body of work comprises re-works of tracks from his 2022 album OXYMORE, some of which have been revealed over previous months. Each track has been meticulously composed and produced by Jarre in direct collaboration with each featured artist, resulting in a distinctive new version that showcases the collective artistry of both musicians.
