Of the song, Pruitt shares, “‘All My Friends’ is inspired by a Christian Wiman poem about getting older and witnessing your friends change their beliefs in search for themselves. Some of their beliefs you may not agree with but if it makes them a kinder, happier and more loving person, then what’s the harm?”

Today, Oliver Wood and Katie Pruitt share a live, in-studio video performance of "Have You No Shame" via premiere at Relix Magazine. The song was written by the late Donnie McCormick, a legendary Atlanta-based musician, who was among Wood’s biggest influences during his formative years spent on that city’s local music scene. Wood, a co-founding member of The Wood Brothers, introduced and taught the song to Pruitt, which ultimately led to the collaboration.

Host band The Wood Brothers have hand-selected country mainstay Margo Price to lead Friday’s lineup alongside soulful troubadour Langhorne Slim, enchanting retro-pop sensation Neal Francis, and breakout star Katie Pruitt. Listening to The Milk Carton Kids -- Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale -- talk about their creative process, it’s easy to imagine them running in opposite directions even while yoked together. “Joey and I famously have an adversarial relationship,” Pattengale says. They dig at each other in interviews and on stage, where Ryan plays his own straight man, while Pattengale tunes his guitar. The songs emerge somewhere in the silences and the struggle between their sensibilities. They have been known to argue over song choices.
