One of Austin, Texas' favorite sons Gary Clark Jr. hit the stage in Chicago with a punch Friday, April 1st. No April fools joke here. The audience was ready. Touring in support of his recent release 'The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim' Clark wowed his audience. Opening act Carson McHone also hails from Austin. As it is kindly the case, Austin musicians look after each other as their star rises, thus she has joined him on some dates. His band is made up of King Zapata on guitar, Johnny Bradley on bass and Johnny Radelat on drums.
