February 3rd and 4th, House of Vans opened with a splash. The
only existing indoor skatepark in the Chicago metropolitan area, this
is really one part indoor skatepark, one part event space and one park
concert venue. The Chicago River West space is the second of its kind
following House of Vans in Brooklyn.

Friday night opened with a sold out crowd for a concert featuring
Future Island, Digable Planet and local upcoming rapper Noname. Large
format images on several dedicated walls featured skate culture photos
by Vans' best-of photographers adding to the character of the space.
