After a lengthy pursuit of the rights, renowned documentary filmmaker, Malcolm Leo and veteran personal manager John Hartmann have secured an agreement to produce a feature length documentary on music icon Jerry Garcia.

The band of brothers known far and wide as Sleepy Sun don’t sit still for long. Though they remain real and spiritual citizens of the Northern California hive that birthed the band in the latter half of the last decade, Sleepy Sun is a rambling band—a certifiably vagabond unit that built a reputation among American and European audiences as fine-tuned, ironclad locomotive and candy sweet heavy pop machine.

Some music cannot be found on a map or within iTunes categories. Some music is so original it seems snatched from the great, invisible substrata that runs below all human activity, a sound aching to be born without a flag or fixed allegiance free, questing, overflowing with immediate, tangible life.

Wakarusa 2012 announced the second of the three installments of this year's lineup. Headliners include two sets of Umphrey's McGee and Girl Talk, Del McCoury Band, Primus. Also announced were Big Gigantic, Fitz and The Tantrums, Tea Leaf Green, Toubab Krewe and more.They include already annouced: Bobby Weir, Jackie Green and Chris Robinson, G. Love and Special Sauce, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Beats Antique and more.The ninth annual Wakarusa is set to take place May 31 to June 3 in Ozark, AR on Mulberry's Mountain.
