For the first time Wanee Music Festival will host one of the premier music workshops in the country, Jorma Kaukonen’s Fur Peace Ranch. Wanee and Fur Peace Ranch will hold workshops during the festival and Q&A groups that will be held by Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Mickey Hart, Oteil Burbridge, Warren Haynes and other performers that will be at Wanee 2012. The Recording Academy has announced today electronic music producer deadmau5 (pronounced ‘dead mouse’) will perform on the 54th Annual GRAMMY® Awards telecast this Sunday, February 12 at 8 p.m.

Zach Deputy is hitting the road this spring with a full band in tow, allowing the singer-songwriter to demonstrate his front man-guitarist skills in a new dynamic and full flavored setting. The tour-- the debut of Zach Deputy Band-- kicks off in Statesboro, GA, then blankets Florida with a stop in Mobile, AL before heading North for performances in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Carole King will release reissues of four classic albums — Pearls: Songs of Goffin and King (1980), Touch the Sky (1979), Welcome Home (1978), and Simple Things (1977) — on February 28 via her own Rockingale Records label and Concord Music Group.
